Snacks are THE problem. My daughter is 4 and she eats everything we put in her plate, you name it, veggies, meat, fish... because we eat exactly the same thing. She eats because she is hungry (not starving) and she is hungry because she doesn't have those big snacks Americans are used to. There's breakfast (homemade pancakes or waffles or bread or cereal AND fresh fruit every single day), then lunch (no snack between), snack (a glass of milk and 1 cookie) and dinner. There's vegetables with lunch and dinner everyday.
NO SNACKS is the rule

Are you kidding me?! Ok, I know how guilty a mom or dad can feel (I'm mommy to 6) But take it from me - they won't die of starvation from missing one meal - they'll just wake up all that more hungry for something healthy (FRUIT!)
If you set out the good stuff - with no fuss, and no alternatives, he will eat. When he's hungry enough!

you need to feed them broccoli, because it is good and they don't like it.
well you r the parent u r the one who needs to feed them, hence u find the way.
suggestion - you steam it, you boil it, you stir fry it, you cheese it, you chop it and mix with there favorite dish, you bake it, you chop it and make a vege patti.
or whatever you need to disguise it, hen go ahead and disguise it till they develop a taste for it and let them know then.

we all have perception of things, people, places etc. That perception can be broken by innovative ideas.

As i continue my search for finding healthy food options for kids( and families) I find that you can eat great traditional food with low cost and healthier. When ever i get a craving for things like Mac & Cheese I simply follow these rules!
1. Use Protein and Omega 3 backed Macaroni (in the regular pasta section of your grocery store)
2. Cabots 50% or 75% fat free cheese (Delicious)
3. Skim Milk and
4. Whole wheat flour.
ALL the great tast with less calories and fat.
