I dont understand what gives the soup 18 grams of fat? I used 2 tblspoons organic unsalted butter and low fat mozzerella for the cheese w/ a shaving of parmesan for the tangy rich flavor. Other than the butter and cheese whatelse has enough fat to give this 18 grams of fat? Use wholegrain wheat bread and real olive oil spray to toast it and melt a slice of mozzerella on the bread (a 1 oz stick of skim mozz is only 3 grams of fat) I couldnt imagine it turning into 18 grams from that. Anyways, french onion soup is the best :)

You need the sugar to balance out the dish. Some sugar good -- too much sugar bad!

Some sugar isn't bad for you. I'm sure that it probably enhances the flavor of the food... besides, 1 tsp. for the whole dish won't hurt.

Why would you add sugar to this recipe? It sort of defeats the purpose of "healthy".
