Kellogg’s Wild Animal Crunch

Category: Breakfast crunch

Crunch factor: Solid, but soulless

Taste: These sweet little brown-and-white whole-grain nuggets, vaguely shaped like polar bears (our tasters thought they were elephants), are supposed to be choco-vanilla, but don’t taste like much at all. They have a slightly foamy texture.

Overall score: 2.3 out of 5 (2.5 is “good”).

The bottom line: More sugars and calories than the same amount of Kix, and though kids may like the polar-bear shape (“Son, let’s talk about global warming”), there’s not much flavor unless you consider “sweet” a flavor. Note: There are also meerkat, seal, and panda versions of this Animal Planet–affiliated cereal.

I have been a Kelloggs consumer, however, this is just to much. Wild Animal Crunch is the worst cereal I have ever tasted. Also, it is a real shame the
enviromentalist have to use a kids cereal to get their poor message concerning ,”endangered”, critters out to the younger customers at breakfast.
Liberals can not even leave a sacred event, such as breakfast alone. Kelloggs, drop the PC garbage and
stick with Tony the Tiger. That is what the market
buys and wants. As for this morning, I dumped the Wild Animal Crap and switched to Cherrios.

I was curious about this cereal and would have bought it if this cereal would in some way benefit the cause it seems to support. Come on, can’t you donate 10% of the proceeds to conservation or something? This is sadly, and obviously, just a bandwagon jump with no substance behind it. At least I have Barbara’s Puffins, which also have the benefit of tasting delicious.
