    Kamna,i think that being 60 pounds and 5ft3′ at your age is probably healthy. it sounds as though you are already thin and maybe you should work out to gain tone, if shape is what you are after. keep on eating a healthy diet consisting of foods from the earth. The less food has been touched by others,better for the body.

    Kamna Ahuja, you are only 15-16 years old and your weight of 60 pounds is not at all heavy. You DO NOT need to loose weight. You are still growing as a teenager. Just concentrate on your study and don’t worry about loosing the pounds. I have a 6 years old son and he weighs more than you do(80 lbs.)

    you can eat any lentil. you are not gaining weight due to lentils ,there must be some other reasons. lentils have lots of fibers, good carbs and protein. In India, people eat lentils daily, they don’t gain weight.

    EVERYONE SHOULD READ. Being someone who has dieted alot the truly fastest way to loose weight is cardio i like the elliptical machine. I used to do an hour a day and you i lost a size in a few days and once you do it everyday it just becomes a habit and you know your going to to do it. But even after i got to the size i wanted i still didnt think i looked good enough, I have spent so much of my life thinking about how i wish i could loose weight and how i wish i would look thinner but once i stopped and thought its not about being thin its about being healthy and happy I STARTED TO LOOSE WEIGHT! without even trying and because i wasn’t always doubting myself i was much more confident and you’d be surprised the people who love you when you love yourself.

    Gaining weight due to lentils is true. Lentils are very nutritious with lots of protein, but it has carbs as well. If you are eating Lentils along with some bread (rice or roti), as bread contains a lot of carbs, your total carbs intake is increasing. So, lentils are healthy to eat, but watch your total intake of carbs which is a major cause to put on weight especially for people from India.

I barely eat a meal a day i play softball for my school and i never watch TV or anything im always up cleaning or riding my bike or walking around I think its my metabolism.     Hi, 2 things first off my name is Cathrine I am 12- 14 years old and I am completely overweight but I am closer to obese. I am 5′8 1/2 and weigh about 219 pounds. This is unhealthy this is what most would call anerexia. I have a 10 year old sister who weighs more then you (she’s around 90 pounds). This is extremely concerning you have become overly obsessed with loosing weight, you don’t need to be 160 pounds but you should be at least 110-115. Again I’m not saying this to be mean but………………………

I don’t munch on many sweets but when they are around i do eat some.     Im 25 and I have put on wieght in the last year and a half .I use to weigh 105 which is the best wieght for my hieght and body type. I currently wiegh 120 Im 4ft 10 inches. I gain it in my hips,thighs and stomach. No one seems to think Im over wieght but I feel sluggish and unhealthy. My activity level hasnt changed much eithier.I’m a full time college student and try not to eat in the cafeteria if possible. I dont eat fastfood at all really and I dont feel like Im eating anymore than I use too. I just want to feel healthy again. I dont have anywhere to exercise because there is no place to.I don’t want to pay for a gym memebership because it can be costly.
