just to let you know that there is a version out for women. I've got both and keep referring to them whenever I feel my will power failing me. They're a great inspiration, and - while I don't follow it religiously - I do believe it contains some sound advice. And it's pretty funny!

i accidentally ordered this book thinking it was something else i ordered. also, did not really pay attention to the fact that it was male-oriented.
i have to say, i read the book front to back, and although i did not follow the diet exactly, i learned a lot about nutrition.
i had 6 meals a day most of the time, 2 of them being smoothies. found whey powder in the grocery store and added to my cereal and sometimes smoothies. followed the excercise advice, and the first week, although i did not seem to lose a lot of weight, i definitly went down in size. i really believe that i had gained muscle, and that's why my weight did not seem to go down a lot.
i love this eating plan, and whenever i am curious about something nutritional, i open the book and can usually find information.
not starved, not feeling deprived, definitely feeling a lot healthier and encouraged.
by the way, i am a 47 year old woman, and this book, though having a lot of male references, really helped me feel good-not like a "fad", either.
