I swear by green tea. I gave up carbonated drinks years ago and now only drink green tea either hot or cold and I feel great for 67.

The “T’s” have it…I also swear by tea, tea, and more tea. I love chamomile and also green tea, in hot versions.

Green tea, fish oil and whey protein (20-40 grams a day)are the 3 major supplements that I use, and rarely get sick myself…although I also work out regularly. Probably the combination that keeps me healthy.

I find the herb Elderberry very helpful during cold & flu season. There is an interesting article called An Answer to Support the Body’s Healthy Viral Defenses that explains how Elderberry fights off viruses and how Blockade Immunity Take Care which is made from Elderberry, blocks viruses from entering and duplicating in the body.

I started doing dome research and found that you have to give you body the proper building blocks to fight off what is attacking it. Unfortunately most foods these days don’t contain the same nutritional values that they did 30-40 years ago. I used to get the “crud” two to three times a year but have found a supplement that has helped tremendously. I haven’t had a bought with it in five years. http://drink-limu.com/blog/?page_id=18

MY MOTHER-IN-LAW TOOK COD-LIVER OIL EVERY DAY AND WAS NEVER SICK ONE DAY IN HER LIFE, SHE WAS GIVEN THIS BY HER MOTHER AS A CHILD. LIVED ON A FARM ALL HER LIFE
HER HAIR STAYED BROWN ( NO DYE ) UNTIL SHE WAS IN HER LATE EIGHTIES AND FINALLY PASSED.

All of these are wonderful, BUT, please remember that natural supplemnets/plants/vitamins can cause bad interactions with prescription drugs. As an example, echinacia nulifies a common drug used to fight cancer and HIV. Please consult your doctor before doing anything to radical.

i used to have a desert spoon of garlic daily with my food the kind you buy in a jar you dont cook it for any longer tham4 minits you can mix it in scrambled eggs ,mashed potatoe minced meat etc,if a desert spoon is too strong start by using less and if you start to get a cold increase to 2 desert spoons a day.
