This has absolutely replaced sour cream in my house. I also love the honey greek yogurt-- as sensual and delicious as ice cream. I love tsaziki. I also like yogurt w/tahini, lemon juice, garlic as a sauce and then you add chopped tomatoes, cukes & onions- a little EVOO. Delicious!

I LOVE Fage 0%. It's fat-free, high in protein (20g per cup) and FILLING. I've lost a LOT (a person) of weight while eating it for my mid-morning snack with fresh fruit.

I find that fat-free greek yogurt is actually creamier than low fat "regular" yogurt. There are a few brands available, and I've never met one i didn't like better. My kids always grabbed for "mommy's" yogurt instead of the regular I used to buy for them. Wish it wasn't so expensive though.

greek yogurt = turkish yogurt , even yogurt is a turkish word

well low fat plain yogurt is the best as long as it has the live friendly cultures in it and it is not pasteurized / heat treated
greek yogurt is rather high in fat and it is not really going to help you lose weight, unless you can find the low fat versions.

I have really been impressed with the remarkable texture and taste of Fage 0% but have not been able to get the straight facts on whether it builds up in my already bypassed cardiovascular system? I do not want to have a heart attack to find out that it is not good for me. I have not eaten ice cream for years.

Anyone have factual info? Thanks
